Our Training Workshops are interactive hands-on trainings for teachers and staff of community organizations that are interested in bringing The Girls & Boys Projects to their schools and organizations.
Whether you are developing new programming for girls and boys or want to infuse your existing programs with fresh ideas, curricula and energy, our workshops offer an opportunity for facilitators to be trained in our curricula and teaching methodology. Our training workshops cover:
-
Themes in both The Girls Project & The Boys Project curricula;
-
Collaborative/democratic education methods;
-
The role of art, movement, and advocacy in education;
-
The nuances of running a gender-based program.
