THE SECOND ANNUAL PINK AWARDS: An Event to Honor Cyndi Lee, Founder of OM Yoga
November 15, 2007
The Second Annual PINK Awards were held on November 15 at the loft of board member and event host Deborah Berg McCarthy. We honored Cyndi Lee of OM Yoga and celebrated the Girls & Boys Projects’ support of health and wellness for NYC youth. Cocktails, dinner, and a silent auction were featured as well as a tribute to Ms. Lee who founded OM Yoga and has been an inspiration to us and our work with young people.
Health and wellness is at the core of all of our programs, whether exploring body image, stereotypes, media messages, puberty & sexuality, healthy relationships, teasing and bullying, or body & soul. In celebrating health and wellness, and honoring Cyndi Lee, we affirmed our commitment to nurturing healthy minds, bodies and spirits.
